It's the first of November and I still haven't decided whether to do NaNoWriMo this year or not. As I've almost definitely decided to set up my Firefly RPG, the time I can put into a novel is pretty minimal. I do have an idea and a title and a profile and so on and so forth but I'm certain I won't make 50,000 words this month. I guess if I go in with that knowledge and just look on it as a motivation to get writing, I can live with that.

The first week e-mail made me laugh though. I almost gave up right there and then after the first five lines:

"Dear Writer,

What were you thinking?

I mean, really. With your busy schedule; with everything else you're supposed to be doing in November, you're going to write a novel too?

Are you crazy?"
